I am Yaddehige Navin Kalhara who graduated in Civil Engineering in 2017 from Sri Lanka Institute of Information and Technology - Malabe, Sri Lanka with second upper class.

One year and two months working experience in Soil Tech (Pvt) Ltd 
Joined Soil tech ltd 1st of February 2017.
Worked as site engineer at „Mathara Stage IV – Water supply project‟ (Geotechnical investigation process – Bore Holes) – 3 months
Worked as site engineer at „Kokmaduwa landslide rectification project‟ (Soil nailing and drainage systems) – 5 months
Worked as site engineer at „Climate Resilience Improvement  project‟ (Soil nailing and drainage systems, World bank funded, Client – Road development authority and consultant – National Building Research Organization) – 6 months  

RESEARCH AND OTHER  ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

• Final year research: “Production of fine and coarse aggregates by washing soils”. (Supervisor – Prof. Asoka Perera, Senior lecturer of University of Moratuwa)
• Term Project on “speed variation of vehicles on bends during day time and night time” under the module of Traffic Engineering and Planning.  
• Successfully designed “flood relief station for flood refugees in Colombo” - under 4th year comprehensive design group project (was the team leader).  
• Built a prototype bridge as a group project of Course module of Engineering Principles and Communication.   
• Participated spaghetti bridge competition organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
• Attended the workshop on “construction equipments” conducted by Construction Industry Development Authority.
• Attended survey camp (one week) organized by the SLLIT faculty of Engineering.
• Successfully pass in indeterminate level of English for life rewarded by GATEWAY language center.
